• If you are a JWU student, you can print from any student computer workstation (e.g. computer lab, classroom, Library). All students receive a complimentary print allowance.

    How The Print Allowance Works

    • At the start of each academic year, student ID cards will be reloaded with a print allowance equivalent to 750 black & white, single-sided pages.
    • If a student chooses to print in color, additional print credits will be deducted per page (1 color page = 2 black & white pages).
    • Students will be able to keep track of their available print balance at the on-campus print terminals when they swipe their IDs.
    • If there is insufficient credit to complete the full job, the document(s) will not print.
    • Unused print credit will not roll over into the next academic year.
    • Student employees who have access to network printers, intended for staff use, are prohibited from using office printers for school or personal use.

What to do if the complimentary print allowance is exhausted

    • Providence and North Miami campuses: Students can purchase additional print credit through SAFS during business hours to continue printing on campus. A black and white page print credit is equivalent to $0.10 and a color page print credit is equivalent to $0.20. Unused print credit purchased through SAFS will not be refunded at the end of the academic year, rolled over into the next year, or be available for other on-campus purchases.
    • Denver and Charlotte campuses: If the initial print allowance is exhausted, students will no longer have access to print from on-campus computer labs or the library. Printing services are available at the on-campus RICOH print center.

    How & Where To Print
    1. Use a JWU student computer workstation (e.g. computer lab, classroom, Library).
    2. Log in as yourself with your username and password. Otherwise, you will not be able to pick up your document at a print station.
    3. Open your file and send it to print.
    4. Visit any print station and swipe your JWU ID card.
(It does not matter whether card is swiped left to right or right to left, nor whether the magnetic stripe is up or down)

You are the only person who sees your documents at the print station.

    Green + Eco-Friendly

Our print stations allow you to avoid printing header pages and multiple doc versions.

Use the printers in your office (all campuses) and/or Faculty Resource Center (PVD only).
